Grand Theft Auto 5’s single-player experience may be static and without any upgrades, but the same can’t be said for GTA Online. The online mode of GTA 5 continues to get frequent updates and fixes that ensure the game remains fresh and relevant for players. One of the newest updates brings the Christmas Event to the game.

Today, we’re here to go through everything players need to know about GTA Online’s Christmas event. This includes what the event is, the rewards players can get for participating in it, and a complete guide that tells players where every snowman is located in the world of Grand Theft Auto Online.

What is the GTA Online Christmas event?

GTA Online’s Christmas event is the final update of 2024 and it comes just in time for the holidays. Many believe it’s the last Christmas event before the launch of GTA 6. Granted, Rockstar doesn’t delay the game.

In addition to the Agents of Sabotage DLC that came out some weeks back, Rockstar Games added several festive outfits. The Christmas event brings back Christmas-themes content from the last holiday season including the Gooch event, Yeti Hunt, Weasel Plaza, Shootout, and the thing we want to focus on today, the Snowman Collectibles.

Additionally, it’s important to keep in mind that the entire world of GTA Online is covered in snow. This snow season is slated to last until the new year, so players can expect things to go back to normal on January 1, 2025.

All Christmas event rewards in GTA Online

Before we go through the snowmen locations in GTA Online, we figured we’d go through the other rewards players can acquire during this event.

Login reward

The first and easily the easiest reward players can get is for logging in anytime between now and January 1, 2025. Those who log in to GTA Online during this time will get:

• Festive Penguin Onesie
• Gold Reindeer Pendant
• Gold style jacket and pants
• Fireworks launcher with 20 rockets
• Snowball launcher
• Full refill on snacks and armor

Holiday Hauler Truck

Like last year, GTA Online also has a holiday hauler truck going around the world. Those who loot this truck get one of two sweaters:

• The eCola Festive Sweater
• Sprunk Festive Sweater

Drop rates are 50/50, which means players will likely have to loot this truck multiple times if they want both sweaters. Additionally, players also have a chance to get GTA Money, snacks, and armor refills.

The Gooch Outfit

The final GTA Online Christmas reward we want to highlight before moving on to the Snowmen is the Grooch Outfit. Those who spawn in a public or private lobby with at least two players will likely encounter the Grooch, who is Rockstar’s parody version of the Grinch. The Grooch tries to rob players of their money before running away.

Fortunately, this NPC is always on foot, which makes killing him fairly easy. Those who kill the Gooch will get the Gooch outfit for themselves. The lobby also has to be at least 48 minutes old, otherwise the NPC won’t spawn.

Every snowman’s location in GTA Online

It’s time to go through the thing most of you were waiting for, which is covering every snowman’s location in GTA Online. It’s important to keep in mind that these snowmen spawn in selected areas around the world, and you can’t punch them. Therefore, you must either use a weapon or a heavy weapon to destroy it.

There are a total of 25 snowmen around the world and below is the location of every snowman in GTA Online:

1: Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness

Players can find a snowman in GTA Online on the side of the highway on the northwest side of Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness, close to Raton Canyon.

2: Paleto Bay

One snowman is in the backyard of one of the homes in Paleto Bay. It’s in the backyard of a house next to Duluoz Avenue.

3: Up-N-Atom Diner sign

A snowman is near the top of the map. Gamers must follow the Great Ocean Highway until they find a sign for the Up-N-Atom Diner. The snowman is next to it.

4: Catfish View

Players have to go to the northeast section of the map. From Catfish View, they have to follow the diverging road towards the east until they see a house before the lighthouse, where they’ll see a snowman in front of it.

5: Grapeseed

One snowman is in Grapeseed, Blaine County. It will be between Seaview Road and Grapeseed Main Street, next to a trailer.

6: Sandy Shores

A second snowman is in Blaine County. The player must go to Sandy Shores and drive through Marina Drive. This snowman is in a trailer next to the liquor store.

7: Grand Senora Desert

This snowman is close to the Alamo Sea. Gamers have to travel on Joshua Road and can find it in front of a house at a crossroads.

8: Senora Way

Drive from the North side of Senora Way and turn on the first intersection. At the diverging path, players will find Ron Alternates Wind Farm. Go to the southern side of it to find a snowman.

9: Grand Senora Desert

This snowman is around the middle of the map. Gamers can find a barn with a snowman in the Grand Senora Desert on the south of a crossroad.

10: Baytree Canyon

Players can find this snowman around the Great Chaparral region. There’s a group of houses near Baytree Canyon. One of those houses has a snowman in front of it.

11: Tongva Valley

This one is near Fort Zancudo Military Base. The snowman is in the middle of the crossroads on Zancudo Road.

12: Banham Canyon

On the northwest side of Banham Canyon, there’s a small intersection leading to the seashore. The snowman is behind a luxurious home overlooking the highway.

13: Banham Canyon

Gamers have to follow the highway on the west side of the map close to Chumash. There is a huge house near the area with a snowman waiting outside.

14: Vinewood Hills

A snowman is in the front yard of one of the houses next to North Rockford Drive. It’s close to the intersection that leads to Ace Jones Drive.

15: Milton Road

There’s a playground near the west of Milton Road. A snowman is outside of the fence surrounding the playground.

16: Vinewood Hills

One snowman is in front of the Observatory. Players can find it on the right-hand side of the entrance, next to the stairs.

17: Rockford Hills

Players can find a snowman in the West Eclipse Boulevard. It’s in the open in front of Michael De Santa’s house.

18: Vinewood

One snowman is near Vinewood. It’s directly opposite from a nearby Ammu-Nation, outside an apartment building.

19: East Vinewood

Around Mirror Park, there’s an intersection between Bridge Street and Glory Way. A snowman is there, next to a tree and a lamp post.

20: East Mirror Drive

There’s another snowman around Mirror Park. A snowman is in one of the front gardens of a few small houses next to East Mirror Drive.

21: Fudge Lane

Players must drive to Fudge Lane and go to the houses next to the traffic light. A snowman is outside one of the purchasable apartments over there.

22: Legion Square

Go to Elgin Avenue and find the plaza. A snowman is hiding there next to the cube statue.

23: Alta Street

There’s a skateboard park between Alta Street and Forum Drive. A snowman is waiting next to a skateboard ramp.

24: Vespucci Canals

This snowman is at a skateboarding plaza near San Andreas Avenue. A snowman is on top of a small ramp.

25: Aguja Street

There are some bushes between Aguja Street and Goma Street. Players can find the final snowman over there.

What is the reward for destroying every snowman in GTA Online?

Those who follow our guide and destroy every snowman in GTA Online’s Christmas event will get the following:

• The Snowman Outfit
• GTA $125,000

Additionally, players will also get $5,000 for every snowman they destroy. While the reward doesn’t seem like much for some players, it’s still a joy to go through the festive and snowy world while tracking down snowmen.
