Grand Theft Auto recently came out with its massive Agents of Sabotage update that brought about various new features to the already massive game. In addition to new cars, players can also purchase the garment factory which brings about its own slew of additional missions players can complete.

One of those missions is called the Fine Art File mission, which requires players to complete certain setup missions to reach. Today, we’re here to go through everything players need to know about the Fine Art File mission, including how to complete the setup missions and how the main heist works. We’ll also go through all the key details and rewards for the game.

So, without further ado, here’s how you can complete the Fine Art File mission in GTA Online, including setup missions and the main heist.

Completing the Setup Missions

The Fine Art File has three setup missions that require completion before starting the main heist. Completing these is essential, as it grants you the necessary utility to carry out the robbery successfully. Here is a step-by-step breakdown for completing each one:

Mission 1: EMP Charges

Stealing EMP charges

Go to the Palmer-Taylor Power Station to steal the EMP charges. You will encounter some guards in the area, so being well-armed is crucial. Clear out the guards, and shoot down the container that holds the EMP charges. Collect and transport the charges back to the Garment Factory. On your way back, you will be chased by the guards, so ensure they don’t catch up to you during the getaway.

Mission 2: Approach Vehicle

The second mission involves stealing an approaching vehicle. Go to the Los Santos International Airport, and infiltrate the hangar to steal one of the helicopters. Take out the five security consoles to bypass the airport lockdown, then choose your chopper for the mission. We recommend going with the Akula or the Buzzard, as both have decent firepower and stealth stats. Board your helicopter and fly back to the Garment Factory.

Mission 3: Facial Recognition

For the third mission, you need a facial scan of your target. Start by locating a Felon car that contains a surveillance drone in the trunk. Search for a four-doored vehicle by following the mission marker, usually parked in urban areas or parking lots. Eliminate guards surrounding the vehicle, and steal the drone in the trunk. Head over to the vantage point where you climb a roof, then scan the target’s face with the drone.

Completing the Main Heist

Now that you know how you can complete the setup missions, it’s time to go through the actual main heist missions. Fortunately, this is fairly straightforward as all you have to do is start the heist and continue from there.

Step 1: Start the Heist

After completing the setup missions, you acquire the EMP charges, a vehicle, and a facial scan of the target. Start the mission by equipping your tactical gear and get on your chosen approach vehicle (a chopper like the Buzzard). Fly to the Maze Bank West tower, and do it discretely. Upon arriving, ensure you don’t get spotted. Prepare to enter stealth mode to complete the bonus objectives.

Step 2: Infiltrate Maze Bank West

Use silenced weapons to kill the rooftop guards quietly and infiltrate the service room by hacking the security panel. Then, kill any remaining guards, plant the EMP charges, and proceed down the stairs while watching for additional enemies. Once in position, activate the charges to kill the power in the building. Then, use a nearby hatch to access the target penthouse.

Step 3: Access the Vault Room

Locate the hidden room inside the penthouse. Use your Night Vision Goggles and the signal tracker to find the vault switch. Flip the switch to reveal the vault, and enter it by solving a fingerprint-matching mini-game. Make your way inside, grab all the items from the cabinets for maximum payout, and achieve the bonus objective.

Step 4: Escape and Deliver the Statue

After securing the tiki statue, you need to leave the penthouse. Go to the elevator leading to the basement before losing your health to the security measures. Avoid being spotted by security cameras on your way. Steal one of the guards’ vehicles parked in the basement and make your getaway. Drive to the buyer’s location and hand over the statue, which will mark the end of the mission.

Key Details and Tips for Maximum Rewards

Completing the Fine Art File mission gives a basic payout of GTA$153,000. While this is good, a few additional details regarding efficiency and precision can add a meaty bonus, bringing your total payout to a potential GTA$303,000.

You can earn the extra 150k through simple but essential activities during the mission. These include entering the penthouse undetected, flicking the switch in 60 seconds, and taking all the cabinet contents. Prioritize stealth when first arriving in your chopper, and avoid making mistakes. Use the night vision goggles to have a strategic advantage in dark areas, helping you spot the vault switch.

You can do these missions solo, but having a team can always be a big help. Doing them in a team increases efficiency, especially if your teammates communicate well. Some objectives demand speed and accuracy, so focus on team coordination as it plays a key role here.

However, the downside to this could be the fact that you’ll be forced to share the money with the other players. Of course, if you all are friends then you guys can ensure things stay fair between each other, though that can be tough to do with strangers.

What other robbery missions came with the Agents of Sabotage update?

GTA Online agents of sabotage

The Fine Art File mission was only one of the four missions that Rockstar added to GTA Online with the Agents of Sabotage update. The other four missions include:

  • The Black Box File
  • The Brute Force File
  • The Project Breakaway File

Every mission is tied to a different area of note in the world of GTA Online, including the San Andreas Gallery and Fort Zancudo. However, the general payout of every mission is around the same, ensuring players can go for the mission they prefer more. Additionally, this also means players don’t prioritize high-paying missions over low-paying ones.
